Privacy policy
Effective 15 September 2026. This policy covers the website at assetconnect.ai. Use of the AssetConnect AI product is governed by the agreement between AssetConnect AI and the customer organisation.
Who we are
AssetConnect AI (legal entity name and registered address) operates this website. Questions about this policy go to madhu@assetconnect.ai.
What we collect
Demo requests. When you request a demo we collect your name, work email, company, role, the equipment you support, and any message you add. We use this to reply to you, arrange the demo, and follow up about it.
Documentation you share for a demo. If you send us a manual or pages from one, we use them only to prepare and run your demo. We delete them afterwards unless you ask us to keep them.
Email. If you email us, we keep the correspondence so we can respond and refer back to it.
Website analytics. This site may use Plausible, a privacy-focused analytics service that does not use cookies and does not collect personal data or track you across sites. It records aggregate page views, referrers, and coarse device information. No advertising or tracking cookies are set by this site.
Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request data, including IP address, user agent, and requested page, for security and reliability. These logs are retained for a limited period.
We do not buy data about you, and we do not sell or rent personal data.
How we use it
To respond to you, to arrange and run demos, to improve this website, to keep it secure, and to meet legal obligations. Where the law requires a legal basis, we rely on your request as the basis for responding to it, and on our legitimate interest in operating and securing the site for the rest.
Who sees it
- Service providers that act on our instructions: hosting (Vercel), transactional email (Resend), and analytics (Plausible) if enabled. Each is bound by a data processing agreement.
- Professional advisers and authorities where the law requires it.
We do not share demo requests with third parties for their own marketing.
Where it goes
Our providers may process data in the United States and the European Union. Where data leaves the region it was collected in, we rely on the providers’ standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.
How long we keep it
Demo requests and related correspondence are kept for as long as we are in contact with you about the product and for up to 24 months after our last exchange, unless a longer period is required by law. Documentation shared for a demo is deleted after the demo unless you ask otherwise.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to complain to a supervisory authority. To exercise any of these, email madhu@assetconnect.ai. We respond within one month.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit. Access to demo requests is limited to the people who handle them. If you believe you have found a security issue with this site, email security@assetconnect.ai.
Children
This site is for professionals and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
Changes
We will post any changes here and update the effective date. Material changes to how we use data already collected will be notified to affected people where we can.
